Fundamentally, this games card system and even numbered lane fighting is a recipe for a terrible game. And this game proves that supercell are really good at following a recipe because this game is one of the worst Ive ever played. This is the game that comes to mind when one thinks of pay to win because the card system was seemingly designed with the idea of paying for the cards. This might be coming off as a review from someone that only played for a few hours or was too unlucky to get any legendaries, but no, Ive had the game since launch and have 5 legendaries. And I still hate the game, sad part is that supercell are making money off of this, completely undeserved judging by the amount of work that seemingly went into this

Okay to begin this review first I need to make it clear that you need to get rid of any biased reviews you may have read so far. Why this game is well deserving of 5 Stars: First of all, its a free game. There are a lot of games out there, that are great and fun like Monument Valley but cost a great deal of money and are entertaining for about an hour or so before eventually becoming obsolete space in your phone. This game, while having no real end result to it, is consistent with updates making the entertainment invaluable. If you like strategy based games, then this is the perfect match. It never becomes boring with new cards always being added, new game modes, and new challenges. Arguably one of the best mmo for mobile gaming. That previous statement sounds like an opinion but it is actually constantly voted as a top rated mmo mobile game for the last year and a half since its release. The developers are intelligent and actually listen to their audience. Along with all the new stuff that Supercell (developing company) brings into the game, they make sure to balance out what is already inside. They dont leave anything out of their radar making sure to keep a well balanced nature so that everyone has equal opportunities. The drawback that most consumers talk about is the "pay to win" style that is brought into this game. Essentially, their argument states that people on this game pay money to increase their card levels and have unfair advantages against "free to play" players. To counter this argument, it is first imperative to point out that it is not an unfair advantage. Of course the developers need to make money off of their game and since they are generous enough to not place advertisements in game, they offer extensions to add to the power of your decks. Everyone has the chance to purchase and increase their own card levels so its not unfair. The other concern is how do free to play players deal with this problem. Well Im a free to play player and Ive been playing for well over a year now (about 5 weeks after its initial launch date). While my card levels still arent near the max cap that pay to win players are at, I still get immensely close to their level in trophies. Like I said before, this game is all about strategy. If you play your cards right, then card level advantages should not be a problem. I beat higher players than me ALL THE TIME. That is not an exaggeration. I literally beat at least 2 or 3 max players on average daily. People who get too irritated too quickly or dont have good tactics in game are going to lose regardless of card level disadvantage. This game is easily worth the $0.00 it costs. It is amazing and and never ceases to stay fair and just for all players. I dont regrets any of the countless hours Ive spent on this app and I wont regret the many more to come. You dont need to spend any money on this game to be good at it, just a bit of skill. To all the bad reviews floating out there, just understand that those people are raging players that cant stand to lose so they came here to write a bad review. Humans are biased so if even my review sounds like it is, then just try the game out for yourself and watch the addiction overwhelm you

This game is so fun, one I never get tired of. However, I am beyond tired of all the annoying spammers "DOWNLOAD THIS TODAY FOR 1MIL FREE GEMS" blah blah. In my clan, its nonstop spammers like that if our clan isnt filled. Developers should make it so people can report that spammer and if 20 people or so report them, they get banned for a day, week, and so on. It makes the game annoying in that sense. But I love the game! OR they should make it so that a new joining player cannot leave a message in a clan for at least 30 min/1 hour. So it will slow the spamming. I know we can report, but its like 2 a day so doesnt help much.

I havent played in a long time when I heard 2v2 are in I got addicted again they should. Switch off on clan chest and go 2v2 more often Ok this 2v2 is a game changer if they made this game into a multiplayer game it would be amazing, what if there was an adjective, 4 corners trying to take out a really big tower letting out troops like a spawner decking. When the big tower in the gets destroyed the team with the most damage to that tower gets a boost that would take out the rest of the attackers. You can choose to attack the main tower in the middle or attack the one in the left or the right but you cant get to the one on the opposite side until the middle one is destroyed If they take off 2 v 2 Im going to delete the app and brake my phone please dont take it off

The only thing I hate about it is when your partner is some Chinese dipshit who leaves he match and automatically makes you lose because then its one vs two. It just really pisses me off!!!

Very very addictive and now they included 2v2. These developers know what there doing. Its always fun playing with your friends going against to other friends with the same objective, destroy the other base. This is a must have game on the go. Oh and please let us keep the 2v2 with leaderboards. Thank you.

Scamming developers using variable card stats and match making to control progress. Rigged to control progress and make you pay BS!

Give the worst match at the wrong time and cant win a single game I have play 20 games and still cant win non

im not saying they are expensive just to complain. But seriously. Lower. The. Prices. value for money in this game is seriously out the window, paying about 50 dollars in gems for the highest tier chest doesnt even guarantee you a legendary. other than that gameplay is good and it took me like 7 months to FINALLY get 1 legendary

This is an amazing game very well balanced. The matchmaking could be better though. Plz add a middle finger emoji for battles.And for god sake take away the laughing face?
