"Please wait, transaction is pending"

I saw the legendary chest in the shop today and decided to jump on the chance to get one. I go to get some gems, type in my password ask to buy, etc. So my mom gets the notification, types in her password and whoosh! The notification disappeared. I go back into clash royale and all the gem buttons are grayed out. When I click on the I get "Please wait, transaction is pending" and from what Ive read online, its going to stay like that for a very long time.
What Im getting at here is that these forum threads go all the way back to 2013 on CoC, so they have never fixed this issue as far as Im concerned. And some people say that Apple and supercell bicker and blame each other on the issue. Which, according to my research, BOTH of them are to blame.
