I will not bother griping about micro transactions here because it is apparently here to stay, like it or not. However, I will take the time to inform those thinking about trying Clash Royal, how this particular game attempts to separate you from your cash. It is important to note that I have no problem spending money on "Micro" transactions as long as I receive a commensurate level of entertainment. Spending $12-15 on a 2 hour movie is fine, so $10-20 every few weeks (more or less depending on the user) to ease along gameplay is reasonable, even in the long term. Clash Royal takes "reasonable" attaches it to a large rocket and launches it into interstellar space. As is typical with Free to Play games, the first few levels speed you along and offer amazing "deals" to keep you interested. As soon as you devote enough time to the game suddenly the "deals" stop and you either spend literally YEARS to progress to any sort of competitive level or spend hundreds of dollars for a short bump in progression, in a race you can never catch up to because of constant additions of content. This would all begrudgingly acceptable if they would stop using greed as motivation and sell their in game boosts at a less insane price point. At my current level I would have to spend $100 to bump 2-3 of my 75 different units up a single level (and Im not even endgame. Unless you have thousands of extra dollars laying around or several years of patience stored up, consider anything else.

I really enjoy playing this game, but 2v2 made more fun and enjoyable. This game had my full attention and potential until 2v2s were gone. With 2v2s you were to partner and learn new techniques on battle from each player, aside with having someone backing you up. I want to give this game another chance, I would like for you guys to consider bringing back the 2v2s team battles!

First of all the card drops are not so bad but the real problem is that the cards are trash. Let me start off with the elite barbs the most frustrating and op card and if Valkyrie is in front or raged they are unstoppable. Now the lava hound it needs a huge buff because it is trash for 7 elixir and is so underrated. Hog riders are the most used card and do so much damage and need a nerf. Goblin barrel is so overrated and get too much damage done in such little time. Bats need a buff badly and arrows should be able to kill minions almost all the time. Ice wiz needs a buff in damage and the slow troops shouldnt be able to be pushed by faster troops. Poison may need a buff and furnace needs a nerf and night witch needs a buff and inferno tower charges up way too fast and wizard needs a buff in health. NOW MINION HORDE IS THE MOST TRASH CARD IN THE GAME AND NEEDS A NERF BEFORE IT KILLS THE GAME!!!!!! Elixir pumps may need a buff. Now I went through all the cards and said what I thought about it and Im hoping for something good to happen for this game.?

DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS GAME!!!!!! Tricks you into buying chests then screws you buy pairing you with others with much stronger cards/towers. This game has absolutely no parity, its no in when they match you with players with superior cards and destroy you in 30-45 seconds!!! I will be deleting this game and waste the money Ive paid to upgrade cards.

I dont like the system of match making when you battle. I win a few times, and then I just lose three or maybe two times in a row, or sometimes theres a really close battle where I destroy one of the towers at the last second, or my tower almost loses all health but then is saved by the time limit, and I win. And if that happens I can make it to 4 wins in a row. Since I usually get knocked down from that, I now just wait for a long time, like a few days or longer and I just play Some other game, and then when I feel like it I try again and end up winning and making good progress. Sometimes I feel like its just one step forward, two steps back, two steps forward, four steps back. That doesnt happen much anymore though. I actually dont not like the system, its ok, I dont fully understand it but its actually probably good and you probably did your best to make it good. This game is awesome. All this might not make sense and thats because I have a problem explaining how I feel about things. Thanks for this game and thanks if you read this.

The Good: Its a good game concept (with real time tower defense) with an interesting variety of cards, spells and characters, and players can have access to all cards with some extreme luck. The Bad: The matchmaking system is severely flawed, matching you to opponents who have an overwelming card advantage against you, whether it be a combination of higher level cards; a higher tower level; having a lower average-elixir-cost, deck of cards; or the access to legendary or more exclusively rare cards that can be accessed when purchased or by having extreme luck. The Bad: The help and support is useless. The updates that try to balance the game is futile and ineffective. New card additions upset the game dynamics and chemistry of the existing cards in the game. There is no immediate plans to balance the matchmaking system and its solely based on player trophy level according to help and support, regardless of how overpowered someone elses deck is compared to yours. From observation and experience, the game makes $$$ off of players frustrations knowing that they will purchase expensive and rare cards to help alleviate their frustration towards the games imbalances and unfair matches, rather than, them fixing the game. Thats why the rate of the release of new cards has increased since the game came out.

The game knows when you are on a winning streak. Once you keep a deck for a long time it will put you again players who can beat it. Not fair. You win 10 times you lose 15 time, you win 15 times you lose 20 times. This suxxxx!!!!

I like this game I really do but I need my money back from the arena 7 pack I bought I didnt spend the 1,200 gems or anything like that also you can take back the super magical chest too.- if possible thanks

Dont spend money on this lame game, rigged to make u lose. If u dont buy anything, your elixir rate slows to a crawl.

They add new content every 2 months. Its not a pay to win game, only if you make it. But in all, GREAT game!

2v2 was a way for people to connect up with friends and get chests without risking throthys it made the game more social and without it our clan really struggled getting clan chest we use to get 10/10 in less than a day but it took 2days and a half now so pls bring back 2v2!!!

You guys are so DUMB. You guys say, Oh this game has bots and computers. This is a p2w game. I was on a 3 lose streak! First of all, this is a 20% p2w game. Second of all, you face real players. Third of all, a 3 lose streak is not the end of the world. I was on a 7 lose streak once. Did I quit? No! I pushed harder and I was able to get back to 3500. You guys are so dumb, keep writing those false, hating reviews. Im not stopping you.

Dear supercell, i have a enormous problem that i am facing ,the problem is in some matches i cant deploy cards or cards get stuck on the field. The only way to solve this so far that i know is by closing the app and opening it again, but as clash royale is a pvp online game the time that take you to close and open the app means that your opponent gets a 15 sec head start. Thus making it impossible for me to climb please help me out. BTW, this all happens without the wifi bar popping up.
